FLOTUS Michelle Obama Kennedy Award’s Ball Gown

Last Sunday night for her 5th Kennedy Center Honors appearance, FLOTUS delivered in a dramatic strapless Marchesa gown, a teal number with a flowing skirt and fitted bodice.
The folded fabric of the bodice is similar to that of the blue Vera Wang dress FLOTUS wore at the 2011 Kennedy Center Honors and the Doo.Ri gown she wore at a 2011 state dinner. The standout feature of this dress, however, were the elegantly draped fabric pieces that highlighted those famous biceps.
As President Obama once noted, “You can be stylish and powerful too — that’s Michelle’s advice.” Amen to that.

This ball gown was truly my favorite piece of her glamorous fashion. Other dresses before and hairstyles I was on the fence about however this gown was truly an EYE catcher. Everything about her reads “I have an inner peace, peace be still” FLOTUS is truly OWNING this night and yet she does it so humbly and with grace. I love her so much for this because she truly compliments the POTUS in every way.
