Fun & Easy Holiday Recipes


Bacon Bites:
Ingredients: cooked Bacon (1 package)
Cream Cheese (1 package)
Jalapeno Peppers (4)
 Crescent rolls (1 can)
-On a clean baking pan spread butter or vegetable oil to keep the rolls from sticking
-Spread out all the crescent rolls
-Inside the crescent rolls place a teaspoon of cream cheese, 3 pieces of freshly cooked bacon and 2 small slices of jalapeno peppers
-Fold the roll and moisten the ends with water to keep everything inside
-Repeat the steps until you make as many rolls as possible
-Then let them bake in the oven for 10 to 20 minutes or until golden brown
Black Bean Soup:
Ingredients: 2 cans of seasoned black beans (drained, not rinsed) 
1 can chicken broth 
1 1/2 cups water 
2 Tbsp olive oil
 1 cup chopped onion
 2 cloves of garlic minced
 2 tsp chili powder
 1/4 tsp cumin White Rice
-Mix all ingredients together in a large pot
-Let it cook slowly (2 hours max)
-Serve with rice or bread 
Pumpkin Devil Eggs:
Directions: Use your typical devil egg mixture;
  -add a square of either green pepper or jalapeno pepper 
-sprinkle with paprika or cumin for spice

Healthy Christmas Eating:
-Just cut a cream cheese block on the diagonal to have the pieces to make a tree shape. 
-Then add some bell pepper decorations 
 -Some pepper jelly (and Wheat Thins of course)


Cherry Cheesecake Dip:
Ingredients:  1 block of Cream Cheese
 1 Tub of Marshmallow Cream 
2 tubs of Cool Whip
-Mix all the ingredients together in one large bowl
-Then spread in a baking pan
-Top with  2 cans of Cherry Pie Filling
Festive Drinks: 

Purple Martini:
Ingredients: 3 oz Vodka 1 1/2 oz cranberry juice 
½ oz blue Curacao liqueur
 ½ oz sweet and sour mix
 ½ of soda 7-up 
Pour the ingredients into a cocktail shaker and shake gently. 
Add more blue Curacao if the color isn’t purple enough. 
Serve chilled

Hello Frenchie Baby:
1 1/2 oz Pear Vodka 
3 oz Pineapple Juice 
1 oz Cranberry Juice
Mix all together and serve over ice 

Silent Night Martini:
 1/4 c. Malibu Rum
 1/4 c. pineapple juice
 1/8 c. blue curacao
1/8 c. white creme de cocoa
 dash or two of whipping cream
-Rim a martini glass with sugar
 -Add all ingredients with ice
– Shake and pour
